Roksana Zeinapur is a Los Angeles-based soprano whose musical interests span from the baroque to the contemporary and encompas opera, chamber music and recital performances. This fall she will be apearing as Azadeh in Other Wise Man with Music on Argyle, Blanche in Dialogues des Carmeliteswith Santa Monica College, and in recital with classical guitarist Jonathan Roth at USC. Her recent performances include Lucy in The Telephone and Columbine in The Little Harlequinade with Pasadena City College Opera Theater, Death in Arias in Motion with OperaWorks, and a solo recital at The Coffee Gallery in Pasadena. She has also performed with the CalArts Baroque Ensemble and at the Intimate Opera Summer Workshop. Roksana is also an acomplished pianist and vocal coach, and has served as an accompanist at L.A. County High School for the Arts and College of the Canyons. She has held residency in Songfest in 2006 and 2009, and has served as an accompanist for many opera and musical theatre productions. She holds a B.A. in piano performance from Pepperdine University and an M.F.A. in collaborative piano from California Institute of the Arts.
